Materials to reinforce paper

ICL Innovation seeks novel phosphorous-derived materials to reinforce paper and increase recycled materials.

Background

ICL Paper, a part of ICL Performance products, have been serving the paper industry for many years. All paper grades are catered for, including tissues, fine paper, tubes,  corrugated board papers and special papers. 

The range of chemicals for this industry covers Aluminum compounds, chelating agents, coagulants and flocculants, defoamers, deposit control agents, flame retardants, pigment dispersing agents, polymeric sizing agents, water treatment and wet strength agents.

We are currently looking for

• Dry strength agents
• Cross-linkers
• Fiber modifiers

We examine new technological proposals based on two main criteria: functionality and cost.

As a technology incubator, ICL Innovation is looking only for innovative technologies that may be further developed and commercialized through a business unit in ICL.
