CCA substitute for wood preservation

ICL Innovation seeks a substitute material to replace the now prohibited-for-use CCA (chmomated copper arsenate).

Key Success Criteria:

• Functions as wood preservative as effective as CCA
• Economic viability
• Regulatory compliance

Background:

CCA is toxic and expected to be banned by regulatory agencies, similar to the case of methyl bromide.  ICL is exploring alternatives.
